Perfect Pearls

Hi everyone!

Today I am showing a technique using Perfect Pearls,
the traditional way is to ink-up your stamp with Versamark or Perfect Medium brush over with the powder....the way I did this one was to use as paint....put a little of the powder in a dish or lid of powder container (remember to clean lid when finished) mix to a paste, not too watery, then using paint brush colour your stamp image!

Supplies used:

Perfect Pearls, Plum, Gold and Pearl
Momento Black Ink
Bauble Stamp by Hobby Craft
Clarity Stamps smooth paper

Pokertails Stamp Embossed

I used this stamp with Black embossing powder and Versamark.  The border I run through my cuttlebug using a swirl embossing folder.

Die Cut Technique

For this technique I used a square die cut.  I cut the square out using my Cuttlebug, and used the templet part to create the coloured squares, the sqaures themselves I used as a mask.

Post-It note Technique

For this technique I used post-it notes.
Place the post-it on the card at the angle you wish then with cut and foam or makeup sponge apply the ink to the part not covered by the post-it.  Once you have the look you want I then inked up my stamp with Momento black and stamped the images!

Pokertails Emboss Resist

Firstly I inked the Pokertail stamp with Versamark and stamped it onto the silk card.  I cut a piece of a post-it note and placed it top right corner of the card and using a Versamark pen dotted a few dots randomly also on the card.

I used a piece of cut and dry foam and the blue and green ink from my Big and Juicy ink pad 'Mountain Medow' 'and applied the ink over the silk card, I removed the post-it cut circle and with a dry baby wipe I polished over the ink to give a shinny finish!
