MDF Shapes

Friday morning craft group
at Hobby Craft

This Friday I challenged the ladies to work with MDF shapes, and what wonderful creations they came up with.

my samples

For this one I used Texture paste (corn flour and PVA glue) Acrylic paint, white to cover MDF then Distress Ink, black soot, and Perfect Pearls, copper, Mask/stencil


For this one I embossed card using embossing folder, then Distress Ink, Concord. on the flower I used H20 Twinkles

For this one I embossed card with embossing folder. Distress Inks, Chipped Sapphire, Iced Spruce. Versamark ink pad, clear embossing powder. Acrylic paint, white to colour MDF then covered with Iced Spruce

    1. Hi, thanks for commenting! We used Texture Paste made from (PVA glue and corn flour) then spread this mixture through a stencil....let it dry a little then colour with Perfect Pearls powder....then you can use Versamark ink pad by tapping on top then cover with embossing powder and then heat set with heat gun! This gives a glossy tile effect!
