Deep Impression

Hi everyone!
Friday morning craft group at Hobby Craft
This Friday I showed the ladies how to do a deep impression into ultra thick embossing using a stamp .

Supplies used:

To create the tile:
Brown/Grey card
Versamark Ink
Ultra Thick Embossing Powder
Dandilion Flower Stamp
Maple Leaf Stamp
Momento Black Ink

1.  Cover the brown /grey card with Versamark, then cover with the ultra thick embossing powder and then heat with heat tool, repeat this process about 3 to 4 times (depending how thick you want it to look).

2.  Ink up stamp with black ink and while the embossing power is still hot/warm press the stamp into it leave for a few seconds and then remove.

3.  Once done you can embellish it onto the card.

4.  I used white card stock which I run through my Cuttlebug using a embossing folder then mounted onto black card.

5.  I embellish the cards with Rhinestones and Raffia

Christmas Ornament

Hi everyone!

I have entered my Christmas Ornament for day 3 on DominoArt's
12 Days of Xmas Festival 2013


Supplies used:

Triominoes x 5
Brilliance Ink, Gold
 Clear Embossing Powder
Bauble Stamp by Hobby Craft
Sakura Pens, Red and Green
 Stazon, Jet Black
Bamboo beads painted gold with a gold Sharpie Marker
Aleen's Fast Grab Tacky Glue
Gold Cord

1.  Cover the Triominoes with the Brilliance Ink by tapping it on until all covered then heat a little with heat tool to set.

2.  Ink up stamp with Stazon and stamp onto Triominoes (do each one separately)

3.  Cover image with clear embossing powder and heat set.

4.  Colour each bauble with the Sakura Pens.

 5.  Apply Aleen's glue to the edge of  the Triomino to stick them together.

  6.  Using the gold Sharpie colour the bamboo beads.

7.  Using Aleen's glue put along the side of each bead and attach to the Triominoes.

8.  Thread the gold cord through the bamboo beads and tie a knot at the top.

Perfect Pearls Powder, Water Spritzer and Masks/Stencils

Hi everyone!
 
Friday morning craft group at Hobby Craft
This Friday I showed the ladies how to use Perfect Pearls with a water spritzer.

Supplies used:

Black and White card stock
Perfect Pearls Powder, Silver, Gold and Bronze mixed
Water spritzer bottles
Masks/Stencils

1.  Lay a Mask or Stencil onto the black or white card.

2.  Using the Silver or Gold/Bronze
spritz over with one touch light sprays leave a few seconds then remove the mask/stencil.

3.  If you spritzed a little to much to help it dry just hold heat gun over for a few seconds.

4.  Mount your creation onto a card and embellish with Rhinestones, Ribbon, also edge the finished card with Silver, Gold Sharpie Markers etc.

FIRE AND ICE

WINNER OF THE FIRE AND ICE CHALLENGE.
 
Many thanks to the few who entered  our  FIRE AND ICE challenge this fortnight, it proved to be a hard theme.
The three entries we had were stunning, Thank you for taking the time and trouble to enter.
As always it was an incredibly difficult job to choose just ONE winner ..... but we did.... drum-roll please... our winner is..........VAL.

Resist Technique

Friday morning craft group at Hobby Craft
This Friday I Showed the ladies the 'Resist Technique' to which they all totally enjoyed! So the said!






Supplies used:

Versamark Ink pad
Clear Embossing Powder
Tim Holtz Distress Ink,
Dusty Concord, Tea Dye, Pine Needles, Bundled Sage, Sky Blue and Mustard Seed
Big & Juicy Ink Pad, Mountain Meadow
Smooth white card
Cut-N-Dry foam pads by Inkssentials

1. Ink up the stamp with Versamark Ink and apply to the white smooth card.

2. Cover the image with clear embossing powder and heat set.

3. Using the Distress Inks and a piece of the cut-n-dry foam pad cover over the image and as much of the white card you wish, then with a piece of kitchen paper towel polish over the card this removes the ink from the area that was embossed and lets the image pop-out!
